In this season of MAFF Tour, our travels take us to #riodejaneiro Brazil to catch up with a few incredibly talented creatives who give us a glimpse into their practice and culture.

Episode 5 features digital artist, @geancg born in Santo Amaro, a favela in Southern Rio. Gean works within the NFT space having started a production company called 2050. 2050 intertwines social issues in Rio’s favelas with digital futurism. His mission is to solve the injustices that his community faces with technology, which he believes is our best bet to face the blemishes of inequalities that exist in our world.
